Ziti Bake - Beaver County Times Holiday Cookbook 1998
1 pound loose Italian hot sausage, browned
1 pound ziti, cooked al dente
1 package frozen spinach, thawed, drained
1 (3 - cup) package shredded mozzarella
Romano cheese
3 cups marinara sauce (possible more)
Prepare your favorite marinara sauce; set aside. In a casserole or lasagna pan, layer sauce, ziti, sausage, spinach, mozzarella and Romano.
Repeat until the pan is full, topping with sauce and the two cheeses.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let rest before serving. Serve with additional sauce.
