Herb-Rubbed Grilled Chicken - Better Homes and Gardens Dinnertime Express



1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1/2 teaspoon savory, crushed
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 1/2 - 3 pounds meaty chicken pieces (breasts, thighs, and drumsticks)

In a small bowl combine salt, thyme, rosemary, savory, and pepper. Sprinkle mixture evenly over chicken; rub in with your fingers.

Grill chicken, bone side up, on the lightly greased rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium heat for 35-45 minutes or until chicken is tender and no longer pink, turning once halfway through cooking.

Makes 6 servings.
