Chicken with Buttermilk Gravy - Super Market Shortcuts

6 frozen cooked, breaded chicken breast patties
1 24oz  package refrigerated mashed potatoes
1 1oz envelope chicken gravy mix
1 cup buttermilk
1/4-1/2 teaspoon finely shredded lemon peel
1/4 teaspoon dried sage leaves, crushed

Bake chicken patties according to package directions.  Heat potatoes according to package directions.
Meanwhile, for gravy, in a small saucepan prepare chicken gravy according to package direcitons, except use 1 cup buttermilk in place of the water called for and add lemon peel and sage.  Place chicken patties on serving plates.  Mound potatoes on top of patties.  Spoon some of the gravy over top.  Pass remaining gravy.

Makes 6 servings.
